Call for Nominations: Directors and Awards

Michael Gourlie, Chair of the Governance Committee, is pleased to invite ACA members to submit nominations for the Association's annual awards program as well as for consideration to Board positions to be elected at the ACA's 2012 AGM.

Nominations are being solicited for the following ACA Awards:
       *  ACA Fellow
       *  Member Recognition
       *  Honorary Member

Criteria for each award, as well as a nomination form, are available online.   Nominations forms can be submitted online or in hardcopy form.

Nominations are requested for the following Board positions:
       *  President
       *  Secretary-Treasurer
       *  Director at Large

Please note that this is an additional Director at Large position, added to the current Board pursuant to General Bylaw 5.02, bringing the Board to five members.The current General By-law is available online. 

The term of service for these positions is the 2013 and 2014 calendar years, allowing a six-month "shadowing" period subsequent to the election at the 2012 AGM.  Position descriptions are available online.  Nomination forms are also available online. Nominations must comply to General Bylaw article 5.05

All nominations must be received by March 31, 2012 in time for review and preparation of recommendations to be presented to the spring meeting of the Board of Directors for final approval.
