Heather Beattie, Director at Large, 2012-2013, is an archivist at the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives, Archives of Manitoba. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba Archival Studies Program (2007) and has a background in political science, with a MA from York University. Heather has served as a member of the Governance Committee for ACA and participated on the Association for Manitoba Archives’ Education and Advisory Services Committee. She is the co-author of “Wild West: Nature Living on the Edge,” which won the Mary Scorer Award for Best Book by a Manitoba Publisher in 2010.
