As a newly launched Special Interest Section, E-SIS invites you to join our inaugural event where we'll be informally discussing a highly relevant article published in Archivaria 33 (Winter 1991-92) by Candace Loewen, "From Human Neglect to Planetary Survival: New Approaches to the Appraisal of Environmental Records". Author Candace Loewen has generously agreed to join us for this discussion, where we hope to engage with the text of the article in the context of 2022 and the ongoing climate crisis. The article is available via Archivaria's Back Issues here: https://archivaria.ca/index.php/archivaria/article/view/11801
